Hadith 23556
٢٣٥٥٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة عن سفيان بن دينار عن مصعب ابن سعد (١) أن صاحب (ضيعة سعد) (٢) أتاه فقال: إن الأعناب قد كثرت، فقال: ⦗٢٧٠⦘ (اتخذوه) (٣) زبيبًا، بعه عنبًا، (فقال) (٤): إنه أكثر من ذلك، قال: فخرج سعد إلى ضيعته فأمر بها فقلعت، وقال لقهرمانه: لا (أئتمنك) (٥) على شيء بعدها (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Mus'ab bin Mas'ud that a man from the land of Hazrat Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) came to him and said: The grapes have become very abundant. He replied: Dry them and make raisins. The man said: They are even more than that. The narrator says that then Hazrat Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) himself went towards the land and ordered them to be uprooted, and they were uprooted. Then he said to his agent: After this, I will not trust you in any matter.
