Hadith 23544
٢٣٥٤٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (حدثنا وكيع قال) (١): حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن (محمد) (٢) بن زياد عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "من اشترى مصراة فهو (٣) بالخيار: إن شاء ردها ورد معها صاعًا من تمر" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever buys a Musarrat goat (a goat whose owner has stopped milking it for a few days before selling it so that the buyer thinks it gives more milk), he has the option; if he wishes, he may return the goat, and for the milk he has used, he should give one sa’ of dates in exchange.
