Hadith 23095
٢٣٠٩٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة وابن نمير عن عبيد اللَّه عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: قال: (النبي) (١) ﷺ: "إن كان موسرًا ضُمّن وإن كان معسرًا أعتق منه ما أعتق" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If that person is wealthy, he will be responsible. And if he is not wealthy, then the portion he has set free will be considered free.
