Hadith 22981
٢٢٩٨١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن منصور عن أبي الضحى عن مسروق عن عائشة قالت: لما نزلت (آيات) (١) الربا قام رسول اللَّه ﷺ على المنبر فتلاهن على الناس، ثم حرم التجارة في الخمر (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the prohibition of alcohol was revealed, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sat on the pulpit and recited the verses to the people, then declared the trade of alcohol to be forbidden.
