Hadith 2296
٢٢٩٦ - حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحاق عن عاصم بن ضمرة قال: قال علي: أيما رجل خرج إلى أرض (قيّ) (١) فحضرت الصلاة (فليتخيّر) (٢) أطيب البقاع وأنظفها، فإن كل بقعة تحب أن يذكر اللَّه فيها، (فإن شاء) (٣) أذن وأقام، وإن شاء (أقام إقامة واحدة) (٤) وصلى (٥).
Hazrat Asim bin Mughira narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If a person is in a deserted place and the time for prayer arrives, he should select a clean and pure spot on the ground. For every piece of land desires that Allah be mentioned upon it. Now, if he wishes, he may give the adhan and the iqamah, and if he wishes, he may perform the prayer by saying only the iqamah.
