Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abdul Malik states that Hazrat Ata was asked whether a traveler should give both the adhan and the iqamah. He replied that for them, the iqamah is sufficient; however, if the travelers are scattered in different places, then both the adhan and the iqamah should be given in order to gather them.
