Hadith 2280
٢٢٨٠ - حدثنا ابن عليه عن أيوب عن ابن سيرين قال: كانوا (يؤمرون) (١) في السفر أن يؤذنوا ويقيموا، وأن يؤمهم أقرؤهم.
Hazrat Ibn Sirin states that the Companions, during travel, used to order both the call to prayer (adhan) and the commencement (iqamah), and also said that the one who is more proficient in recitation should lead the prayer.
