Hadith 2279
٢٢٧٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن خالد عن أبي قلابة عن مالك بن الحويرث قال: أتيت النبي ﷺ ومعي ابن عم لي، فقال: "إِذَا سَافَرْتُما فَأذِّنا وَأَقيمَا، وَلْيَؤُمُكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُما" (١).
Hazrat Malik bin Huwairith says that I, along with one of my nephews, presented myself in the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said, "When you travel, give the adhan and also say the iqamah, and let the eldest among you lead the prayer."
