Hadith 22766
٢٢٧٦٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن الربيع (عن) (١) نافع قال: لقد رأيتنا وفينا أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ يجاء بالأوساق (فتلقى) (٢) (بالمصلى) (٣) فيقول الرجل: كلتُ كذا وكذا، ولا أبيعه مكايلة، إنما أبيعه مجازفة فلم يروا به بأسًا (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi’ (may Allah have mercy on him) that I saw the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that sacks of grain were brought before them, and a man would say that I have measured these things and bought them, but I will sell them not by measure but by estimation (without measuring). The companions of the Prophet did not consider there to be any harm in this.
