Hadith 227
٢٢٧ - حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي عن سفيان عن عمران بن مسلم عن سويد بن غفلة عن نباتة قال: سألت عمر بن الخطاب عن المسح على العمامة (قال) (١): إن شئت فامسح عليها، وإن شئت فلا (٢).
Hazrat Nabatah says that I asked Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about wiping over the turban, so he replied: If you wish, you may wipe over the turban, and if you wish, you may remove it and wipe over the head.
