Hadith 22597
٢٢٥٩٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا هشيم عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: (إذا) (١) أفلس العبد المأذون له في التجارة، (فدينه) (٢) (في) (٣) رقبته، فإن شاء مولاه أن يبيعه باعه ويقسم ثمنه بين الغرماء، وليس عليه أكثر من ثمنه.
Ibrahim says that if a slave with permission becomes insolvent, then his debt is upon him; his master has the choice, if he wishes, he may sell this slave and distribute the price among the creditors; nothing more than his price is obligatory upon the master.
