Hadith 22319
٢٢٣١٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حميد بن عبد الرحمن (الرؤاسي) (١) عن دينار قال: سألت الحسن: أعطي الصراف الدرهم بالبصرة وآخذ السفتجة، آخذ مثل دراهمي بالكوفة، فقال: إنما يفعل ذلك من أجل اللصوص، لا خير في قرض جر منفعة.
Hazrat Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him): Can a money changer in Basra be given dirhams and a receipt be obtained from him? And then, can similar dirhams be collected from him after going to Kufa? He (may Allah have mercy on him) replied: This is done because of thieves, however, there is no good or virtue in that loan in which there is profit (interest).
