Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Bakr bin Uthman narrates that I used to sell the excess of payment (ziyada) in exchange for silk and dirhams in Khurasan. One year I performed Hajj and asked Hazrat Salim about this matter, and he replied that there is no harm in it if it is with goods. However, I consider it disliked with dirhams. Hazrat Muhammad bin Ka'b and Hazrat Ata also gave the same answer. I also asked Hasan and Hazrat Ibn Sirin, and they said that we consider it disliked with dirhams, but there is no harm if it is with goods.
