Hadith 22215
٢٢٢١٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو خالد وحفص (عن حميد) (١) عن أنس أن أبا طلحة أتى النبي ﷺ فقال: إني جعلت حائطي للَّه، ولو استطعت أن أخفيه (ما أظهرته) (٢) فقال النبي ﷺ: "أجعله في فقراء أهلك" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) presented himself in the noble service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and submitted: I have dedicated my garden in the way of Allah; if I had the ability to keep it hidden, I would never have made it public. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Dedicate it for those among your family and relatives who are poor.
