٢٢١٣٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن مصعب عن الأوزاعي قال: سألت قتادة عن عطية (الجلوة) (١)، قال: تلك سمعة، لا تجوز.
Hazrat Awza'i (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hazrat Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) about the amount given for showing the face (munh dikhai). He (may Allah have mercy on him) replied that this is a hearsay matter and it is not permissible.
