Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sha’bah says that I asked Hazrat Hakam and Hazrat Hammad: If a person, while buying something, says, “For cash, it is this much, and for credit, it is that much,” what is the ruling on this? They replied that there is no harm in it, as long as he chooses one transaction before parting. Hazrat Sha’bah says that I mentioned this to Hazrat Mughira, and he said that if they separate after agreeing on one of the two options, then Ibrahim also did not consider there to be any harm in it.
