Hadith 21510
٢١٥١٠ - حدثنا زيد بن الحباب عن أبي عوانة عن قتادة قال: إذا اختلف الراهن والمرتهن: فالقول قول المرتهن] (١) ما بينه وبين قيمته، فإذا زادت فالقول قول الراهن.
Hazrat Qatadah says that when there is a dispute between the mortgagor and the mortgagee, then the statement of the mortgagee will be considered valid; if there is a dispute regarding the increase in the value of the item, then the statement of the mortgagor will be considered valid.
