Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Muhammad bin Ubaidullah Thaqafi narrates that a man rented an animal for a place called Bardamah, but he took it beyond the designated location, where the animal met with an accident and died. In this case, the judge Shurayh ruled that the rent for the designated place should be paid, and for taking it further, the man should guarantee (compensate for) the animal.
