الرجل يسن الرجل السكنىRuling if a Man Lets Another Stay in a House
Hadith 21324
٢١٣٢٤ - حدثنا ابن أبي زائدة عن أشعث عن محمد قال: اختصم إخوة إلى شريح فقال أحدهم: زوجني و (أسكنني) (١) و (أثابني) (٢) فقال: (أزوّجه) (٣) وأسكنه؟ (فقالوا) (٤): (زوّجه) (٥) وأسكنه فقال: شاهدان ذو (ا) (٦) عدل على أنه (آثرك) (٧) بها على نفسه في حياته.
Muhammad narrates that a dispute between some brothers was brought before the court of Hazrat Shurayh. One said that he arranged my marriage, provided me with accommodation, and gave me shelter. Hazrat Shurayh asked whether he had indeed arranged his marriage and provided accommodation. When the people confirmed this, Judge Shurayh said that two just witnesses should testify that he preferred you over himself during his lifetime.
