Hadith 21303
٢١٣٠٣ - حدثنا ابن عيينة وعبدة بن سليمان عن يحيى بن سعيد عن أبي بكر (ابن محمد) (١) (بن عمرو) (٢) بن حزم عن عمر بن عبد العزيز أن أبا بكر بن عبد الرحمن بن الحارث (أخبره) (٣) عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "من وجد ماله بعينه عند رجل قد أفلس فهو أحق به من غرمائه" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a person's property is found in its original form with someone who has become insolvent, then he is more entitled to it than the other creditors.
