Hadith 21027
٢١٠٢٧ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن جويبر عن الضحاك قال: ما أدركت من ذلك يطرف (بعينه) (١) أو يحرك ذنبه، فذبح فهو حلال، وما ذبح (فلم) (٢) يطرف له عين ولم يتحرك له ذنب فهو حرام ميتة.
Hazrat Dhahhak says that if you slaughter an animal and it moves its eye or tail in that state, then it is lawful (halal). If it is slaughtered but neither its eye nor its tail moves, then it is carrion and unlawful (haram).
