Hadith 20639
٢٠٦٣٩ - حدثنا وكيع نا سفيان عن برد عن مكحول قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إن اللَّه جعل رزق هذه الأمة في (سنابك) (١) خَيْلهَا وأزجُّة رماحها ما لم يزرعوا فإذا زرعوا (صاروا) (٢) من الناس" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Mak'hool (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has placed the sustenance of this Ummah under the hooves of horses and the tips of spears, as long as they do not engage in agriculture. When they engage in agriculture, they will become like common people.
