Hadith 20483
٢٠٤٨٣ - حدثنا وكيع (حدثنا سفيان) (١) عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج عن أبي هريرة قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "إن اللَّه ليضحك إلى رجلين يقتل أحدهما الآخر كلاهما يدخل الجنة، يقاتل هذا في سبيل اللَّه فَيُسْتَشْهَدُ، ثم يتوب اللَّه على قاتله فيُسلم فيقاتل في سبيل اللَّه فيُسْتَشْهَدُ" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty laughs at two men, one of whom kills the other, yet both of them enter Paradise. This is how: one fights in the way of Allah and is martyred, then Allah guides the other, and he accepts Islam and fights in the way of Allah and is martyred.
