Hadith 20305
٢٠٣٠٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا عبد الأعلى عن سعيد عن قتادة عن جابر بن زيد أنه قال: إذا مات أحدهما قبل الملاعنة، إن هي أقرت بها رجمت وصار إليها الميراث، وإن التعنت ورثت، وإن لم تقر (بواحد) (١) (منهما) (٢) فلا ميراث لها ولا عدة عليها.
Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) says that if either of the two dies before the process of li'an, and then if the woman confesses to adultery, she will be stoned and the inheritance will be included in her wealth. And if she performs li'an, she will be an heir. If she does not confess to either of these things, she will not receive inheritance and 'iddah will also not be obligatory upon her.
