Hadith 20304
٢٠٣٠٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا إسماعيل بن علية عن خالد عن عكرمة قال: في رجل قذف امرأته (فماتت) (١) قبل أن يلاعنها قال: إن (كذب) (٢) نفسه جُلد (وورثها) (٣) وإن أقام شهودا ورث، وإن حلف لم يرث.
Hazrat Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a man accuses his wife of adultery and the woman dies before the process of li'an, then if the man retracts his accusation, he will be flogged and will be her heir; and if he presents witnesses, he will be her heir; and if he swears an oath, he will not be her heir.
