Hadith 20278
٢٠٢٧٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا سفيان بن عيينة عن ابن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد: ﴿وَعَلَى الْوَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ﴾، قال: على الوارث مثل ما على (أبيه) (١) أن يسترضع له.
Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him), in the commentary of the verse { وَعَلَی الْوَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَلِکَ } of the Holy Qur'an, says that the heir is obliged to do what was obligatory upon the father, that is, to arrange for the child's milk.
