Hadith 20143
٢٠١٤٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا إسماعيل ابن علية قال: سئل يونس عن رجل تزوج امرأة ثم غاب عنها قبل أن يدخل بها، هل لها نفقة؟ فقال: كان الحسن لا يرى لها عليه نفقة حتى يدخل بها، إلا أن يقولوا له: خذها فلا يأخذها.
Yunus, may Allah have mercy on him, was asked: If a man marries a woman and then goes far away without consummating the marriage, will the woman receive maintenance? He replied that Hasan used to say that the woman will not receive maintenance until he consummates the marriage with her. Or, if the girl's guardians told him to take the girl but he does not take her with him, then she will receive maintenance.
