ما قالوا في الرجل تحته الأمة فيطلقها تطليقة ثم تعتق﴾If a Man Divorces His Slave Wife and Then Frees Her, What Is the Ruling on Her Waiting Period?
Hadith 19868
١٩٨٦٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي عن حماد بن زيد عن (علي) (١) بن الحكم عن الضحاك في الأمة إذا طلقت تطليقتين ثم أعتقت في عدتها قال: تعتد حيضتين، وإن طلقت واحدة فأعتقت في عدتها قال: تعتد ثلاث حيض وزوجها أحق بها.
Hazrat Dahhak, may Allah have mercy on him, says that if a slave woman is given two divorces, then she is set free during her waiting period, she will observe the waiting period of two menstrual cycles. If she is given one divorce and is set free during her waiting period, she will observe the waiting period of three menstrual cycles, and her husband will have more right to her.
