Hadith 19843
١٩٨٤٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا عبدة بن سليمان عن عبيد اللَّه عن نافع عن ابن عمر أنه كان يقول: عدتها حيضة إذا أعتقها أو مات عنها (١).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the waiting period (‘iddah) of an umm walad is one menstrual cycle, whether she is set free or her master passes away.
