Hadith 19412
١٩٤١٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا حفص عن حجاج عن طلحة عن إبراهيم أن أصحاب عبد اللَّه (كانوا) (١) يقولون: يهدم الواحدة (والثنتين) (٢) (كما) (٣) يهدم (الثلاث) (٤) إلا (عبيدة) (٥) فإنه قال: هي (كما) (٦) بقي.
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the students of Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say this, while Ubaidah used to say that a man will only have the right to the remaining divorces. One or two divorces can grant the right to a new divorce just as three divorces grant the right to a new divorce.
