Hadith 19334
١٩٣٣٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا ابن علية عن يونس (قال: حدثنا عن) (١) عمر بن عبد العزيز قال: إذا أسلم الزوج بعد امرأته خيرها ما دامت في العدة (أو) (٢) قال: هو أحق بها ما دامت في العدة.
Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a person accepts Islam after his wife, then during the waiting period (iddah), the woman will have the choice, or he said that in the case of accepting Islam during the woman's waiting period, he will have more right.
