Hadith 19228
١٩٢٢٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا ابن مهدي عن سفيان عن إبراهيم بن مهاجر (عن مجاهد) (١) قال: كانت لابن عمر (سبية) (٢) فكان زوجها يسارها بالطلاق فقالت لابن عمر: إنه يكون منه الشيء في السر؟ فأحلفه وتركه (٣).
Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the husband of a slave woman belonging to Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to divorce her in seclusion. When the slave woman spoke to Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), he made her husband swear an oath and then separated them.
