Hadith 19205
١٩٢٠٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا وكيع عن عمر (بن ذر) (١) قال: سألت الشعبي عن رجل قال: كل حلٌ عليّ حرام قال: (لا) (٢) يوجب طلاقًا ولا يحرم حلالًا، يكفر يمينه.
Hazrat Umar bin Zar, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I asked Hazrat Sha’bi, may Allah have mercy on him, that if a person says, “Everything lawful is unlawful for me,” then what is the ruling? He replied that this does not establish divorce and does not make the lawful unlawful; he should offer expiation for his oath.
