Hadith 1907
١٩٠٧ - حدثنا هشيم قال: أخبرنا غيلان بن عبد اللَّه مولى بني مخزوم قال: سمعت ابن عمر سأله رجل من الأنصار عن المسح على الخفين؟ فقال: ثلاثة أيام للمسافر، وللمقيم يوم وليلة (١).
An Ansari asked Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about wiping over the socks, so he replied that for a traveler the duration is three days, and for a resident it is one day and one night.
