Hadith 18937
١٨٩٣٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا وكيع عن ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري عن أبان بن عثمان عن عثمان قال: كان لا يجيز طلاق السكران والمجنون (١).
Hazrat Usman (may Allah have mercy on him) did not consider the divorce of an intoxicated or insane person to be effective, whereas Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) considered it effective and would enforce the prescribed punishment on the intoxicated person.
