Hadith 18894
١٨٨٩٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا حفص عن حجاج عن عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده قال: كتبت إلى عمر في رجل مجنون يخاف أن يقتل امرأته فكتب إلى أن أجله سنة (يتداوى) (١) (٢).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I wrote to Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) in a letter, asking what is the ruling regarding such a madman about whom there is a fear that he might kill his wife? He replied that give him a respite of one year for treatment and care.
