١٨٨٧ - حدثنا يونس عن داود بن أبي الفرات عن (محمد بن زيد) (١) عن أبي شريح عن أبي مسلم مولى زيد بن صوحان قال: كنت مع سلمان، فرأى رجلا ينزع خفيه للوضوء، فقال له سلمان: امسح على خفيك، وعلى خمارك، وامسح بناصيتك، فإني رأيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يمسح على الخفين (والخمار) (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Abu Muslim says that once I was with Hazrat Salman. He saw a man taking off his socks to perform ablution, so he said: Wipe over the socks, the scarf, and the forehead. I have seen the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wiping over the scarf.
