Hadith 18809
١٨٨٠٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا عبدة بن سليمان عن يحيى بن سعيد عن (بكير) (١) (بن) (٢) عبد اللَّه بن الأشج عن عطاء بن يسار قال: كنت جالسًا عند عبد اللَّه بن عمرو (فسأله) (٣) رجل (عن رجل) (٤) طلق امرأته بكرًا ثلاثًا قال عطاء: ⦗١٢١⦘ فقلت: ثلاث (٥) البكر واحدة وقال عبد اللَّه بن عمرو: ما يدريك؟ إنما أنت (قاص) (٦) (ولست) (٧) (بمفت) (٨)، الواحدة (تبينها) (٩) والثلاث تحرمها، حتى تنكح زوجا غيره (١٠).
Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I was sitting with Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him, may Allah have mercy on him) when a man asked him: If a person gives three divorces to his virgin wife, what is the ruling? Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I said: What is the meaning of three for a virgin, one is sufficient for her. Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him, may Allah have mercy on him) said: What do you know, you are a judge, not a mufti. One divorce will make her irrevocably separated, and three divorces will make her unlawful for him until she marries another man.
