Hadith 18801
١٨٨٠١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا مروان بن معاوية عن سويد بن نجيح الكندي قال: سألت الشعبي عن رجل قال: (إن تزوجت) (١) فلانة فهي طالق، أو يوم أتزوج فلانة فهي طالق، قال الشعبي: هو كما (قال) (٢) فقلت: إن عكرمة يزعم أن الطلاق بعد النكاح فقال: (جرمز) (٣) مولى ابن عباس.
Hazrat Suwaid bin Najeeh (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hazrat Sha’bi (may Allah have mercy on him) about a man who said that if he marries a certain woman, she is divorced; what is the ruling on this? He replied that it will be as he has said. I said that Hazrat Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that divorce takes place after marriage. He replied that Jurmuz is the freed slave of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both).
