Hadith 1876
١٨٧٦ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن مسلم عن مسروق عن المغيرة بن شعبة قال: كنت مع النبي ﷺ في سفر فقال: "يا مغيرة خذ الإداوة"، (قال) (١): ⦗٣٧٩⦘ فأخذتها، ثم خرجت معه، فانطلق رسول اللَّه ﷺ حتى توارى عني، فقضى حاجته، ثم جاء، وعليه جبة شامية ضيقة الكمين، فذهب ليخرج يده من كمها، فضاقت، فأخرج يده من أسفلها، فصببت عليه، فتوضأ وضوءه للصلاة، ثم مسح على خفيه، ثم صلى (٢).
Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu’bah narrates that I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a journey. He said, “O Mughirah! Bring a vessel.” I took a vessel and went with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) withdrew to relieve himself. After that, he returned and he was wearing a cloak with narrow sleeves. He tried to take his hand out from it, but due to the narrowness, it was not possible. Then he took his hand out from inside the cloak and performed ablution, then wiped over his socks and offered prayer.
