Hadith 18753
١٨٧٥٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا وكيع عن سفيان قال: حدثني عمرو بن مرة عن سعيد بن جبير قال: جاء رجل إلى ابن عباس فقال: إني طلقت امرأتي ألفًا (أو) (١) مائة قال: بانت منك بثلاث وسائرهن (وزر) (٢) اتخذت آيات اللَّه هزوا (٣).
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that a man came to Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) and said, "I have given my wife a thousand or a hundred divorces; what is the ruling regarding this?" He replied, "She has become separated from you with three divorces, and the rest are sins. You have made a mockery of the verses of Allah."
