Hadith 18647
١٨٦٤٧ - حدثنا الحسين بن علي عن زائدة عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن وراد عن المغيرة بن شعبة (أن) (١) النبي ﷺ قال: " (أتعجبون) (٢) من غيرة سعد؟ فواللَّه لأنا أغير من سعد، (واللَّه) (٣) أغير مني، (ولأجل) (٤) غيرةِ اللَّه حرَّم الفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن" (٥).
Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Are you amazed at Sa’d’s (may Allah be pleased with him) sense of honor? I am more possessive than Sa’d, and Allah is more possessive than me. Because of His sense of honor, Allah has forbidden all kinds of apparent and hidden indecencies."
