Hadith 18515
١٨٥١٥ - حدثنا حفص عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن الأسود عن عائشة أنها أعتقت بريرة فخيرها رسول اللَّه ﷺ وكان لها زوج حر (١).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when Hazrat Barirah (may Allah be pleased with her) was set free, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave her the choice (to either maintain her marriage or end it). Her husband was a free man.
