ما قالوا في النفساء كم تجلس حتى يغشاها زوجها؟How Long Must a Husband Abstain from Intercourse with a Woman in Postnatal Bleeding?
Hadith 18366
١٨٣٦٦ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن زهير قال: نا علي بن عبد الأعلى عن أبي سهل عن مسة عن أم سلمة قالت: (١) كانت النفساء (تقعد) (٢) على عهد رسول اللَّه ﷺ أربعين يومًا وكنا نلطخ على وجوهنا الورس من الكلف (٣).
Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), women in postnatal bleeding would refrain (from prayer, etc.) for forty days, and we used to apply a yellow herb called wars to our faces because of the dull redness.
