في المسح على القدمينWiping over the Feet in Wudu
Hadith 183
١٨٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن الأعمش عن أبي إسحاق عن عبد خير عن علي قال: لو كان الدين (برأي) (١)؛ كان باطن القدمين أحق بالمسح من ظاهرهما، ولكن رأيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ مسح ظاهرهما (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that if reason had any role in religion, then the wiping (masah) would be done on the inner part of the foot instead of its outer part, whereas I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wiping over the outer part of the foot.
