Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that any woman who gives herself in marriage to someone, or whose father gives her in marriage to someone, such a woman will receive a mahr equivalent to that of similar women if consummation takes place. And if consummation does not take place and she is divorced before consummation, then she will receive mut'ah (a parting gift).
