Hadith 1821
١٨٢١ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا الأعمش قال: سمعت مجاهدا قال: استبطأ رسول اللَّه ﷺ جبرائيل، فقال: وكيف نأتيكم وأنتم لا تقصون أظفاركم، ولا تنقون براجمكم، ولا تستاكون (١).
Hazrat Mujahid states that once Hazrat Jibreel delayed in coming to the presence of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When he arrived, he said, "How can we come to those people who do not cut their nails, do not clean the joints of their fingers, and do not use the miswak?"
