Hadith 18105
١٨١٠٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن شريك عن أبي ربيعة الأيادي عن ابن (١) بريدة عن أبيه أن النبي ﵇ قال لعلي: "لا تتبع النظرة (النظرة) (٢) فإنما لك الأولى وليس لك (الآخرة) (٣) " (٤).
Hazrat Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) advised Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that if your gaze falls (on something), do not look again, because there is allowance in the first glance, but there is no allowance for you in the second.
