Hadith 18029
١٨٠٢٩ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن أبي نصر عبد اللَّه بن عبد الرحمن عن هلال بن يساف عن عبد اللَّه بن عمرو قال: ألا أخبركم بالثلاث الفواقر! (قال) (١): وما هن؟ قال: إمام جائر، إن أحسنت لم يشكر وإن أسأت لم يغفر، وجار سوء إن ⦗٤٧٥⦘ رأى حسنة غطاها وإن رأى سيئة أفشاها، وامرأة السوء إن شهدتها (غاظتك) (٢) وإن غبت عنها خانتك (٣).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Shall I not tell you about three calamities? One is a tyrant ruler: if you do good, he does not thank you, and if you make a mistake, he does not forgive you. The second is a bad neighbor: if he sees your good, he conceals it, and if he sees your bad, he spreads it. The third is a bad wife: if you are present, she angers you, and if you are absent, she betrays you.
