Hadith 18010
١٨٠١٠ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي ظبيان قال: لما قدم معاذ من اليمن (قال) (١): يا رسول اللَّه! رأينا قومًا يسجد بعضهم لبعض أفلا نسجد لك؟ فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا! إنه لا يسجد أحد لأحد (دون اللَّه) (٢) ولو كنت آمرًا أحدًا يسجد لأحد لأمرت النساء (يسجدن) (٣) لأزواجهن" (٤).
When Hazrat Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) returned from Yemen, he submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! We saw a people who used to prostrate to one another. Should we not prostrate to you as well?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "No, none may be prostrated to except Allah. If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded women to prostrate to their husbands."
